Privacy Policy
Overview
EasyDash for Google Analytics ("the App") is a mobile dashboard builder that connects to your Google Analytics 4 (GA4) properties to visualize your analytics data. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.
Data We Collect
1. Authentication Data
When you sign in with your Google account, we receive:
- Your name, email address, and profile photo via Google Sign-In.
- An OAuth token that grants the App read-only access to your Google Analytics 4 data.
This information is used solely to authenticate you and authorize access to your GA4 properties.
2. Dashboard Configurations
The App stores your custom dashboard layouts, widget configurations, and settings. This data is saved:
- Locally on your device (using an on-device database).
- Optionally in the cloud (via Google Firebase Firestore) if you enable Cloud Backup in Settings. This allows you to restore dashboards on another device.
Dashboard configurations contain only layout and display preferences — they do not contain any analytics data. Cloud backup is off by default and requires explicit opt-in. If you sign in on a new device, any previously backed-up dashboards are automatically restored and cloud sync is re-enabled.
3. Feedback Data
If you choose to submit feedback through the in-app feedback form, we collect:
- Your feedback message and selected category.
- Your user ID (so we can follow up if needed).
- Device information: device model, Android version, app version, screen resolution, and screen density (to help us reproduce issues).
This data is stored in Firebase Firestore and is submitted only when you actively choose to send feedback. It is never collected automatically.
4. Crash and Performance Data
We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash reports and diagnostic data. This helps us identify and fix bugs. Crashlytics data does not include personally identifiable information.
5. Subscription Data
If you subscribe to a paid plan, your purchase is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store any payment information (credit card numbers, billing addresses, etc.). We only receive confirmation of your subscription status from Google Play.
Data We Do NOT Collect
Your Google Analytics data never passes through our servers. All communication with the Google Analytics 4 API happens directly from your device to Google's servers. The App formats and visualizes this data locally on your device. We have no access to, and do not store, your analytics data (page views, user counts, revenue, traffic sources, or any other GA4 metrics and dimensions).

Google API Services Compliance
EasyDash's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Limited Use Disclosure
EasyDash accesses Google Analytics data through the Google Analytics Data API using the
analytics.readonly OAuth scope. In compliance with Google's Limited Use requirements:
- We only use the data to provide and improve the dashboard visualization features described in this policy.
- We do not transfer Google Analytics data to third parties, except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features (and only with user consent), for security purposes, or to comply with applicable laws.
- We do not use Google Analytics data for serving advertisements.
- We do not allow humans to read Google Analytics data, unless with the user's affirmative consent, for security purposes, to comply with applicable laws, or when the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Google Sign-In / Firebase Authentication — Google Privacy Policy
- Google Analytics 4 Data API — Google API Services User Data Policy
- Firebase Crashlytics — Firebase Privacy
- Firebase Firestore — Firebase Privacy
- Google Play Billing — Google Play Terms of Service
Data Retention
- Authentication data is retained as long as you have an active account. Signing out clears your local session data.
- Dashboard configurations are stored locally and in Firestore as long as you use the App. You can delete your data by uninstalling the App or requesting account deletion.
- Feedback submissions are retained in Firestore until manually deleted or upon account deletion request.
- Crash reports are retained by Firebase Crashlytics for up to 90 days.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties. Data is only shared with the third-party services listed above, strictly for the purposes described in this policy.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data stored in the App.
- Delete your account and all associated data:
- In the App: Settings → Delete Account & Data
- On the web: easydash-analytics.com/delete-account
- Revoke the App's access to your Google Analytics data at any time via your Google Account permissions.
- Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data.
Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App or on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
