Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using EasyDash for Google Analytics ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
EasyDash is a mobile dashboard builder for Android that connects to Google Analytics 4 (GA4) properties to visualize analytics data. The App:
- Connects directly from your device to the Google Analytics Data API.
- Allows you to build custom dashboards with configurable widgets, charts, and filters.
- Stores dashboard configurations locally on your device and optionally syncs them via Firebase Firestore.
- Does not store, process, or proxy your Google Analytics data on our servers.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
4. Account and Authentication
The App requires you to sign in with a Google account. By signing in, you:
- Authorize the App to access your Google Analytics 4 data using the
analytics.readonlyOAuth scope (read-only access). - Acknowledge that you are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.
- Can revoke the App's access at any time through your Google Account permissions.
If you enable Cloud Backup, your dashboard configurations (layout and display preferences only — never analytics data) will be stored in Firebase Firestore. Cloud Backup is off by default and requires explicit opt-in. If you sign in on a new device, any previously backed-up dashboards are automatically restored and cloud sync is re-enabled.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
The App offers a free tier with limited features and a paid PRO subscription that unlocks additional capabilities such as custom dashboards and cloud sync. A free trial period may be available for new subscribers.
- All subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing.
- Subscription pricing, billing cycles, and free trial terms are displayed in the App and on the Google Play Store listing.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through the Google Play Store app on your device.
- Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle after the change, and you will be notified in advance. Early subscribers may retain their original pricing.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App, its servers, or connected services.
- Use the App to access Google Analytics data that you do not have authorization to view.
- Exceed or attempt to circumvent Google Analytics API usage quotas through automated or abusive means.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, icons, and user interface, is the intellectual property of Kotysoft and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal and commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
Your Google Analytics data remains your property. We claim no ownership over any data accessed or displayed through the App.
8. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services, each governed by their own terms:
- Google Analytics Data API — subject to Google APIs Terms of Service
- Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Crashlytics) — subject to Firebase Terms of Service
- Google Play Billing — subject to Google Play Terms of Service
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services.
9. Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.
Key points:
- Your Google Analytics data is accessed directly from your device and never stored on our servers.
- We only store dashboard configurations, authentication data, and anonymous crash reports.
- We comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
10. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- That the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- That data displayed will be accurate, complete, or current (Google Analytics data may have processing delays of 24-48 hours).
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kotysoft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.
Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and revoking its access from your Google Account.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
13. Account Deletion
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through either:
- In the App: Settings → Delete Account & Data
- On the web: easydash-analytics.com/delete-account
Account deletion permanently removes your EasyDash account, all cloud-synced dashboard configurations, and any feedback submissions. Your Google Analytics data is not affected — EasyDash never stores your analytics data. Account deletion is irreversible.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via the email associated with your account. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hungary, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
